Our Story

Carter Signs has been a family owned business since my father, Buddy Carter, opened the shop in 1975. Buddy got his start in the sign business by hand painting billboards because the wide format printers that are used today did not exist. The sign shop, and the technology that we use, have seen considerable changes over the past thirty-nine years.

Carter Signs has been able to sustain the test of time by staying true to our core beliefs. We, as business owners, know how much work goes into running a business and staying within your budget. For that reason it is our vision to deliver the highest quality sign to our customers at a lower price.

We have been proudly serving Fortune 500 Companies, local businesses and governments for almost four decades. Our success has not come without tragedy though. In 2007 the shop was burned to the ground by the Bugaboo Scrub Fire, and we thank God that Carter Signs was able to rise from the ashes soon after.

We offer a wide range of products including campaign signs, high-end LED signs, lighted signs, and moderately priced vinyl signs. In addition to signs, we also offer a full range of advertising solutions like custom vehicle wraps, lettering, and magnets in order to satisfy all of our customer’s specific needs.
